LEQ
Lutheran Education Queensland (LEQ) is a department of the Lutheran Church of Australia Queensland District.
LEQ supports 26 schools, 23 outside school hours care services (OSHCs) and 31 early years services throughout Queensland.
Lutheran Education in Australia is supported by Lutheran Education Australia (LEA) as the national body, together with the state-based regional offices and locally-based Lutheran education communities.
We are stronger together.
On behalf of the Lutheran Church of Australia, LEA upholds the mission and ministry of the church in partnership with our regional bodies, schools and early childhood services.
Lutheran education communities are strongly linked by a common ethos to provide quality education in which the gospel of Jesus Christ informs all learning and teaching, all relationships and all activities.
LEA has responsibility for national policy, accreditation and leadership development for staff in schools, early childhood services and regional offices.
Within the Lutheran education system in Australia, there are a number of regional bodies directly supporting Lutheran schools and early childhood services.
Each of the national and regionally-based organisations plays a vital role in directly supporting schools and early childhood services within their areas of responsibility.
These are:
Lutheran Education Queensland (LEQ) is a department of the Lutheran Church of Australia Queensland District.
LEQ supports 26 schools, 23 outside school hours care services (OSHCs) and 31 early years services throughout Queensland.
Lutheran Education SA. NT & WA (LESNW) is an association for its members – 40 co-educational schools and early childhood services across South Australia, the Northern Territory and Western Australia.
Lutheran Education Vic, NSW, Tas (LEVNT) supports 19 schools and five early childhood services across Victoria, New South Wales and Tasmania as subsidiaries.
As Lutheran schools are independently operated, the education program they offer can be tailored to serve the needs of their local communities. They focus their resources to ensure they remain faithful to their mission and are accessible to the community.
Reach out to the LEA team for general enquiries, media requests, or information about our programs.
