Lutheran Education values
Central to their mission and ministry, Lutheran schools nurture staff and students to live out the God-given values of love, justice, compassion, forgiveness, service, humility, courage, hope, and gratitude.
Our learning story inspires a deep understanding of who we are, and how we are created for relationship with God and all creation. We seek to honour the wisdom of our First Nations People as we grow appreciation of the interconnectedness of all. Embracing the future with confidence, our learning communities grow learners who are Free to Flourish by being adventurous, compassionate, purposeful and relational.
Lutheran Education’s framework: Growing Deep
Growing Deep articulates what it means to participate, work and flourish in a Lutheran education community. Lutheran education beliefs and values are underpinned by key theological concepts referred to as the Lutheran lens.
Growing Deep inspires and enables Lutheran schools and early childhood services to be places of service and transformation and contribute to the ministry of the Lutheran Church of Australia (LCA).
