Teachers in Lutheran education receive professional learning to assist them in their role, their community and for their context. There are two key resources for staff educating students in Lutheran learning communities.
Is an introduction into Lutheran identity.
Provides support for teachers of Christian Studies.
In addition to an induction provided by each school, Lutheran Education offers a Connect program and the Equip program, which supports the teaching of Christian Studies.
Staff employed in Lutheran education may be eligible for recognition of equivalent learning from another educational system, such as Catholic education. Equivalent units of study in theology and leadership may be recognised towards Accreditation as a Christian Studies teachers and Accreditation as a leader.
Relocation support may be provided in some circumstances.
